You can convert your account through the following channels:

1. Branches
2. Call Centre
3. Mobile Banking

• Visit a branch with your Civil ID/National ID.
• Request to convert your account.
• The branch will execute your request.
• Your account will be converted, and interest will be credited at the end of each month.

• Call the Call Centre at 24791111.
• Verify your identity.
• Request to convert your account.
• The Call Centre will execute your request.
• Your account will be converted, and interest will be credited at the end of each month.

• Log in to the Mobile Banking App.
• Go to Service Request.
• Select “Convert to Interest Bearing A/C.”
• Your account will be converted, and interest will be credited at the end of each month.

You can convert your account until 31 March 2025. Accounts not converted by this date will remain non-interest bearing by default.

Earn interest on your savings. Interest will be applicable from 1st January if converted before 31st March. For interest rates, please visit the deposit rates page.

1. Login to “Mobile Banking”
2. ⁠Go to “Accounts”
3. ⁠Select the Saving Account requested for conversion
4. ⁠Click on “Accounts Details”
5. ⁠If Account is converted to Interest bearing, Interest rate will appear there
