In the first half of 2022, the Academy has conducted over 60 training and development programs and is committed to develop and groom Omani talent for future leadership and functional roles. The Bank continues its focus on executing Competency Based training programs for both Conventional as well as Islamic Banking.
A New Structure that supports the aspirations and national qualifications
To achieve its ultimate vision to be one of the best banks in the Sultanate and to stay at the top of the game, BankDhofar undertook an organizational structure change with a clear focus on investing in developing national competencies. BankDhofar has appointed talented Omanis in high management positions, which supports the Bank's vision to increase the percentage of Omanization within the leadership positions. With the new structure, the Bank is in a position to build on the opportunities for our talents and achieve further business growth.

The Bank is also honored to announce that 84% of the management team that are contributing towards the growth strategy of the Bank are Omanis." Dr. Khalid added.

The Bank has a multi-award-winning Mobile Banking App with unique features that is constantly upgraded in line with market trends. These enhancements include instant international money transfer service via Western Union, cardless cash which is the first service of its kind in the world that enables customers to conduct ATM transactions easily only by using their mobile numbers. It has also launched a flagship drive-thru banking service for the first time in Oman. This drive thru service is the first-of-its-kind in the Sultanate and enables customers to conduct transitions without stepping out of their car, including cash deposit and withdrawal, cheque deposit, instant debit card issuance, bank transfers, and request for account statements, among other services and products.
