BankDhofar Expands its Network to 75 Branches
Reinforcing its efforts to be closer to its customers, BankDhofar recently celebrated the official opening of Wattaya branch marking the 75 branch of the Bank’s expansive branch network.
The official opening was held under the patronage of HE Ali Bin Saeed al Sayyidi, Wali of Muscat, in the presence of a number of prominent members of the society and BankDhofar executive management team.
On this milestone, Amjad Iqbal Al Lawati, Chief Retail Banking Officer at BankDhofar, said: “We understand, at BankDhofar, that branches are one of the critical connection channels for customers. Therefore, as part of our strategy to be closer to our customers and provide them with a convenient banking experience, we are expanding our (BankDhofar and Maisarah) branch network across the Sultanate. Today we are glad to launch the 75th branch within our branch network,and we look forward to opening more branches throughout the year.”
BankDhofar had recently opened service branches in various governorates across the Sultanate, including Al Kuwair Branch, Al Koudh, MBD Branch, Al Amerat Branch, Nizwa Branch, Ibra Branch, Barka Branch. The Bank is expanding its Isalmic window branches as well.
Elaborating on that, Amor Said Al Amri, DGM – Maisarah Retail Banking said: “At Maisarah we continue to enhance our customer-centric approach. Thus, we are expanding our branches to be closer to our customers. Currently, we have a network of 11 branches across the Sultanate, and we aim to open more branches and guarantee the best experience for our customers from the moment they step into the branch.”
With the official opening of Wattaya Branch, the Bank expands its nationwide branch network to 75 branches & 1 Corporate Center (64 branches of BankDhofar & 11 Branches of Maisarah). With its prime location, which is easily accessible, the branch offers a wide range of services to its customers except for cash services. The new branch is designed to provide a convenient banking experience to its customers.
