BankDhofar Introduces Innovative Vertical Debit Card for Enhanced Convenience and Security
BankDhofar recently announced the launch of its new debit card vertical designs. The new designs are part of its customer centric strategy to enhance the banking experience for the valued customers.
The vertical debit cards reflects the way people use their cards. The cards are portrait oriented, similar to how customers use their smart phones. The card front displays only the name of the customer, along with the issuer and BankDhofar’s logos and hides customer details on the back, to improve security and also to be used more intuitively for ‘Tap and Pay’.
A color scheme was chosen to reflect the specific segment colors along with a wave pattern of silver to reflect the movement and endless possibilities.
Some key features of the debit card:
- Enhanced security: The card incorporates advanced security features such as EMV chip technology which ensures secure transactions making it convenient for both retail and online purchases.
- Contactless payment: With the inclusion of NFC technology, cardholders can simply tap their card on a compatible payment terminal to complete the transaction quickly and securely.
- Global acceptance: The vertical debit card is accepted across the world allowing customers to make purchases and withdraw cash from ATM’s across the world.
- Instant issuance: The vertical debit cards are issued instantly at any of the expanding branch networks allowing customers immediate access to their accounts.
