BankDhofar Supports Inauguration Ceremony of ‘Women Club for Sports and Cultural Creativity’

Demonstrating its keenness to support various initiatives that serve the community, BankDhofar recently sponsored the inauguration ceremony of ‘Women Club for Sports and Cultural Creativity’. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth. Representing BankDhofar at the event were, Abdul Hakeem Omar Al Ojaili, CEO of BankDhofar, Kamal Uddin Hassan Al Maraza, Chief Maisarah Islamic Banking Officer, and a number of prominent female employees from BankDhofar.

The club is considered the first women’s institution of its kind aimed to enhance women’s contribution to various aspects of cultural, sports and youth action. It will contribute to empowering women to carry out social roles more competently and confidently.
