BankDhofar, the Second largest bank in the Sultanate by branch network size , has unveiled a new Salary Transfer Campaign offering an array of exclusive benefits to customers who transfer their monthly salaries to the bank.
Eligible customers will enjoy a suite of benefits for 12 months starting from the date of their first salary transfer. These exclusive benefits, available only through the Mobile Banking app, include three free mobile payments each month, three free transfers within Oman every month, and one free international remittance per month to India or Bangladesh.
In addition, all qualifying customers will receive complimentary Personal Accident Insurance providing coverage in the event of accidental death or total disability. Insurance benefits are structured across three tiers:
Customers with a monthly salary ranging from OMR 300 to OMR 700 will receive a monthly coverage amount of OMR 500, with a total coverage of OMR 6,000 over a 12-month period. Those earning more than OMR 700 and less than OMR 3,000 per month will be eligible for a monthly coverage of OMR 1,000, with a total coverage of OMR 12,000 over 12 months. For customers with a monthly salary of OMR 3,000 or more, the monthly coverage will be OMR 2,000, providing a total coverage of OMR 24,000 across the same 12-month duration.
To qualify, customers must meet specific criteria: they should not have received salary transfers in their BankDhofar account during the past six months; salary or pension payments must be credited exclusively via the Wage Payment System (WPS); the minimum monthly salary should be OMR 300; and salary transfers must continue for at least 12 consecutive months to maintain eligibility. The campaign is open until December 31, 2025, with benefits activated from the date the first salary is credited.
This latest initiative reflects BankDhofar’s unwavering focus on raising customer service standards and enhancing satisfaction across both physical and digital platforms. Over the past two years, the bank has expanded its network significantly, to reach a total of more than 140 state-of-the-art branches nationwide.
