BankDhofar expands its presence at Al Dakhiliyah governate with new branches in NIZWA and BAHLA
In line with its commitment to be closer s and strengthen relationship with customers, BankDhofar recently inaugurated two new branches in the Al Dakhliyah governate. The first branch is located in Jibreen, Wilayat of Bahla, and the second at the Sultan Qaboos Academy of Police Sciences in Nizwa.
As the second largest bank in the Sultanate of Oman by the number of branches, at a total of 123 branches, the bank also operates 360 ATMs, multi-use cash deposit machines, and multi-service interactive machines. Notably, customers can perform banking transactions via ATMs using just their mobile phone numbers, eliminating the need for a card.
The Jibreen branch and Sultan Qaboos Academy of Police Sciences branch will provide specialized services to the SME sector. The Bank is offering specialiased Al Rifaa preferred banking , Al Riadah priority banking services. The Jibreen branch was inaugurated by His Excellency Sheikh Saeed bin Ali Al-Salaf Al-Nuaimi, Wali of Bahla State. The Sultan Qaboos Academy of Police Sciences branch was inaugurated by Lieutenant Colonel Said Salim Al Manaai Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Academy.
BankDhofar is dedicated to implement digital enhancements through significant investments in technology based on customers evolving needs and ensure an enhanced user experience. Through its mobile banking application, customers can manage accounts, pay bills, transfer money, and invest in various financial products. The bank’s “Intilaaqah” application allows customers to open savings accounts without visiting a branch and provides instant transfers to any other bank in Oman instantly.
Additionally, BankDhofar has recently launched "Dhofar Pay," enabling customers to make secure payments via smartphones without needing a direct debit card.
